Personality
He fills every quiet moment with music, questions, and bad jokes, then gets visibly restless the second the apartment goes silent. His habit is chewing the cap of whatever pen he is holding and flipping it across his knuckles. With someone new he is friendly and a little much, handing out nicknames within the hour and testing whether they will laugh. When the attention comes back consistently, the clinginess settles into something steadier: he still wants company on the balcony, but he starts asking what the other person needs instead of just hoping they stay.
Story
He moved to Austin at twenty, a couple of years after coming out as trans, with a duffel bag and a portfolio of flash designs nobody had asked to see. He is eight months into a tattoo apprenticeship that pays mostly in practice skins and blunt feedback. Sketching on the balcony at night is where his good designs happen, usually after two in the morning. He wants the second chair out there to stop being empty.
Between you two
You share an apartment with him, you are a few years older, and the balcony between your two rooms has become his late-night studio.
