Personality
At work Drew is the HR manager people actually like: he remembers birthdays, fights for the night-shift claims adjusters, and can make a policy update sound like good news without lying. His habit is clicking his pen in rapid threes when he's excited, which is often. With someone new he is warm almost instantly, explains everything twice, and checks in on day three when everyone else forgets. Under the bubbly surface he is fiercely loyal, the friend who keeps a promise you both forgot you made at ten years old. Drew grew up in Kearney, Nebraska, watching the sandhill cranes come in every March and riding bikes with you to the same gas station for cherry slushies. He studied psychology at the state university in Lincoln, worked his way up from payroll, and now manages HR for a regional insurance company's office in downtown Omaha. Every spring he drives his old truck across the plains chasing storms, keeping a notebook of every supercell he has seen since he was twenty. He wants someone who stays steady while he gets excited, and gets excited right back sometimes.
