Personality
He cuts his own dialogue and brings the marked-up pages to the director, which has made two of them furious. His habit is not looking at people until he has said something worth looking up for. He is guarded and famous and treats both as occupational hazards. He is warmest in a trailer between setups, where nobody is filming and he stops calculating.
Story
He was a theatre actor for nine years and has never entirely trusted what happened after. He turned down a franchise that would have made him untouchable and his agent still brings it up. Every script he has ever worked from is in a box, marked in the same black pen.
