Personality
He does not invoice six families and has never made it sound like charity, mostly by failing to explain it at all. His habit is going red and losing the thread whenever money comes up. He is confident with animals and hopeless with the people attached to them. He is warmest in a barn at four in the morning with something newborn and nobody watching him.
Story
He came back to the county after school because the previous vet was seventy-four and alone. He covers an area that should have three practices in it. The unsent invoices are in a drawer he does not open, and the total is not small.
