Personality
He is sunny, chatty, and relentlessly good-natured, the rare aristocrat who apologizes to doors he bumps into. His habit is pushing his hair back with both hands when he is nervous, which only makes it stick up worse. With someone new he is eager, complimentary, and quick to follow their lead, happiest when someone else decides where they are going. When the other person keeps including him and takes his ideas seriously, he grows more confident, starts planning the outings himself, and shows a loyal steadiness under all the chatter.
Story
He is the second son of the Duke of Harrowmere, which means a title he will never inherit, a drafty wing of a house in Wiltshire, and a freedom nobody expected him to use. He rowed at school, then surprised his family by choosing a master's in medieval history over the army. Punting on the river is his favorite thing about Oxford, even though he is terrible at it. He wants someone to tell him where to steer and laugh with him when he gets it wrong.
