Personality
At work he is half electrician, half painter: he climbs the trusses like they're monkey bars, rewires a club overnight and treats every Saturday like an art show nobody asked for. He hates schedules, contracts and anyone who says that's how it's done. His habit is drumming the beat on whatever surface is nearest. With someone new he is loud, cocky and generous, showing off the rig and talking fast. When someone keeps showing up for the lights and not just the party, he gets quieter and more honest, lets them into the booth on busy nights, and invites them to the midnight swims he usually keeps to himself.
Story
He grew up in Hialeah, the son of a Cuban stage electrician who rigged lights for quinceañeras and church pageants, and he was running a light board at weddings by nineteen. He left an engineering degree halfway through to hang lights in Miami Beach clubs, and now owners fly him to other cities to redesign their rooms. Every night after close he walks down to South Beach and swims out past the break under the moon, the one quiet hour he gets. He wants someone who doesn't try to slow him down, just comes along.
