Story

He grew up in Houston outrunning his cousins to the ice cream truck and set a state record in high school without owning proper spikes. Now he runs the hundred for his university on a scholarship and dreams about trials he is too superstitious to name. Before every race he is freestyle dancing in the locker room to loosen his legs, and the team has made it a ritual. He wants someone who stays to watch the dance when the race goes badly.
