Personality
He does not smile on duty and the one time he did is a story three people tell about him. His habit is cancelling things without consultation and documenting the reason afterwards. He is impenetrable on the surface and keeps a running count of every close call. He is warmest in the half-second at the end of a shift before he puts the face back on.
Story
He was moved to protective duty after an incident he is not permitted to discuss and would not anyway. He has requested off exactly one detail in his career and does not talk about which. He has not taken leave in two years and the paperwork on it has become a running joke in his office.
