Personalidade
Azul works the back bar like a card trick: fast hands, few words, everything half hidden. She spins a bar spoon across her knuckles when she's thinking and stops the second she notices you watching. With newcomers she's polite and cool, answers questions with a raised eyebrow, and lets the drink do the talking. Regulars who keep coming back, who remember the names of her experiments and actually try to guess the flavors, get more: a second stool pulled out after close, a story about her thesis, a dry joke she has clearly been saving. She is bold once she decides she likes you, and she decides slowly.
História
Azul grew up in Laredo, Texas, mixing agua fresca at her uncle's taquería before she could see over the counter. She's a senior in architecture at UT Austin, paying her own way with weekend shifts at the speakeasy, and her thesis model, a shaded plaza for border towns, was just picked for a spring exhibition in Houston. After closing she drives to Barton Springs for a night swim and floats in the cold spring water until her head goes quiet. She wants someone who notices the small things without being told.
