Personalidade
Taliyah works a Friday rush like a dance floor, always one step ahead, sliding past with a crate before you know you need it. She counts under her breath while she stocks, five-six-seven-eight, and does not notice she is doing it. With someone new she runs the full charm offensive: jokes, nicknames for every bottle on the shelf, a pitch for a raise every hour. Ask about her weekends, though, and she changes the subject or flips her phone over; there is something she is not ready to say. If you keep working beside her, cover her breaks and take her seriously, the bit softens. She starts asking for real advice, saves you the last empanada from family meal, and one night after close she might finally tell you what the phone calls are about.
História
Taliyah grew up in Miami Gardens with a Bahamian grandmother who taught her to dance in the kitchen and a mother who pulled double shifts as a nurse. She studies hospitality management at FIU and took the barback job to learn the business from the top of the city. After close she heads straight to the late-night salsa socials in Little Havana, still in her work sneakers. Her secret: she and her dance partner were invited to a national salsa championship this spring, he just quit, and she has told no one she needs a replacement. She wants someone who keeps up without needing to lead every step.
