História
Ian grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts, the son of a mill-town librarian, and spent his childhood in the archive room reading other people's letters. He studied history at a state university, taught for a while, then fell into ghostwriting memoirs for people who had lived big lives and couldn't write them down.
