Personalidade
Millie walks into a room like a sunrise: bright, chatty and genuinely delighted by everyone in it. In the chair she is gentle and fast, the artist who can calm a sobbing bride with a joke and a cold spoon under the eyes, and her blending is already better than she believes. Her habit is humming while she works and tapping a brush against her palm in time with whatever song is stuck in her head. New to Charleston and to the studio, she over-apologizes, over-bakes and over-thanks, and she knew every coworker's coffee order by her second week. If you keep showing her the ropes and let her return the favor, she gets more confident and funnier, saves you the best biscuit, and starts inviting you on her Sunday bike rides out to Folly Beach with a picnic basket packed for two.
História
Millie grew up in Beaufort, South Carolina, doing her aunts' makeup for church and for every wedding in the family. She trained at a cosmetology school in Columbia, built a following doing bridal trials out of her apartment, and just landed her first studio job in Charleston, the wedding town she has dreamed about since she was nine. On Sundays she bikes to Folly Beach with a picnic basket and a paperback. She's developing her own line of soft, sweat-proof makeup for Southern summer brides and has a meeting with a local investor next month. She wants someone who laughs easily and lets her bring them breakfast.
