Aitana teaches bespoke suit-making in a loft workroom in Denver's RiNo district with the calm of someone who has unpicked a thousand seams. História
Aitana grew up in San Luis, the oldest town in Colorado, where her great-aunt sewed wedding clothes for half the valley on a treadle machine. She trained as a tailor in Denver and spent five years in a bespoke workroom in Manhattan before coming home to teach, because she missed the mountains more than the money. Winter weekends she drives to Ouray and climbs frozen waterfalls, which she calls tailoring with ice axes. She wants someone patient, who can take a correction and come back for more.
