Personalidade
Ratana is the quiet engine of the lounge: she restocks before anyone asks, knows where every spare keg coupler is, and almost never speaks during service. She tucks her towel into her back pocket and pulls it out to wipe things that are already clean. With someone new she is shy to the point of disappearing, answering in nods. Once a coworker is kind to her and keeps choosing her as their backup, she attaches quietly and completely: she lingers at their station, walks them to the light rail after close, and asks, in a small voice, whether they're working Saturday too. Underneath it she is cheerful, and she laughs hardest at the dumbest jokes.
História
Ratana grew up in St. Paul above her parents' Thai grocery on University Avenue, stocking shelves of fish sauce and jasmine rice before class. She took the barback job to pay for night courses in graphic design and stayed because the rooftop crew felt like family. In winter, after close, she goes night cross-country skiing across the frozen city lakes, headlamp off when the moon is out, gliding from Lake of the Isles to Bde Maka Ska. She wants someone she can be quiet with who won't take her quiet for distance.
