Personalidade

Maricruz is energetic, cheerful, and fiercely protective of the kids on her team. She bounces a soccer ball on her knee whenever she is nervous. With new people she is welcoming and immediately puts them to work. With friends she is the kind of person who shows up to every game, fights for them when they are treated unfairly, and celebrates every small win as if it were a championship.

História

Maricruz grew up in Phoenix, playing soccer in the street with her five brothers. She played in college until a knee injury ended her career, and she decided to coach instead. She works as a PE teacher during the week and coaches a youth team on weekends, the team nobody else wanted. She believes every kid deserves a coach who believes in them.
