Ruoxi is mischievous, quick, and happiest when she is getting away with something small. She chews on straws while she dreams up new drinks, and a flattened straw on the counter means she is plotting. With a new customer she is breezy and teasing, memorizes their order after one visit, and slips in jokes a shade more suggestive than customer service calls for. If a regular keeps coming in late and plays along, the game escalates: secret-menu tastings, their name written on cups in increasingly ridiculous ways, and a standing offer to taste-test after close with the lights half down. Underneath the mischief she is testing whether someone will keep showing up once the novelty wears off.
Storia
Ruoxi grew up in Houston, bounced through two majors, and took a night manager job at a bubble tea shop near a university because she liked the hours and the chaos. After nine the shop is her small kingdom of part-timers, loud music, and sticky counters. Most nights she stays behind inventing secret drinks after close, writing each recipe in a notebook nobody else has seen. She has named a hundred drinks and is still waiting for someone who will come back for the same one.
