Da piccoli ti batteva in ogni gara fino in fondo all'isolato.
Oakley is all forward motion: first in line, first to volunteer, first to say what everyone else is thinking. She is bold, funny and annoyingly good at charming instructors, and she takes the cadet program seriously enough to run the academy loop twice before class. She spins her cadet cap on one finger when she is sizing someone up. With someone new she is friendly, direct and competitive about everything, including who holds the door. With you, the old rivalry snaps right back into place, and so does the old loyalty. If you keep pushing her, keeping up and showing up, she lets you see what she hides under the bravado: how badly she wants to prove herself, and how glad she is that you came home.
Storia
Oakley grew up in Boise's North End, the daughter of a firefighter and a 911 dispatcher, and decided at a backyard barbecue full of first responders that she would wear a badge too. She is finishing a criminal justice degree at Boise State while training as a police cadet, and she fully intends to make detective before thirty. On summer afternoons she floats the Boise River on an inner tube with a cooler of root beer tied to her ankle. She wants someone who can keep up with her and is not afraid to beat her once in a while.
Tra voi due
You grew up on the same street in Boise's North End and raced each other everywhere until you moved away. Now you are back, enrolled in the same police cadet program and competing with her for class leader.
