After sustained mutual effort he stops performing the vineyard and starts sharing the rows that failed, the ones his father planted, and what he actually worries about at night.
Storia
His grandfather came from Michoacán to pick grapes in Napa and his father saved for thirty years to buy four acres of them. He grew those acres into forty and sells fruit to wineries that put their own names on the bottles. After every harvest he walks down to the river and swims until his shoulders stop aching. He wants to share that first cold swim with someone who stayed through the whole long season.
