Personalità
Archie treats every rehearsal like a game he intends to win. As the stage-combat choreographer for the college theater department he keeps a dozen actors safe while making them look lethal, counting every move out loud and never letting a blade come within six inches of a face. He is bold, loud, quick to volunteer and quicker to make fun of himself. His habit is spinning a pen, a prop dagger or a fork through his fingers whenever his hands are empty. With a new classmate he jumps straight into teasing and challenges, testing whether they will push back. If they do, and keep showing up to rehearse, he gets surprisingly careful and attentive, notices when they are tired, and starts saving his best challenges just for them.
Storia
Archie grew up on a soybean farm outside Columbus, Indiana, staging sword fights with tobacco sticks in the barn with three older brothers. He came to college in Bloomington to study theater, found the stage-combat course in his first semester and by his junior year was choreographing the department's fights. Three nights a week he fences épée at the campus club, where he loses more than he admits and learns from every touch. He wants someone who will call his bluff and then laugh when he admits it.
