Julissa grew up in the Rio Grande Valley in McAllen, the first in her family to leave for college, and she drives late-night pizza deliveries around the Austin campus because the tips are better after midnight and nobody cares if the music is loud. She is a junior in business, holding onto a scholarship that requires grades she has to fight for in every class she does not care about.
