Yanet treats every day like a sale rack: something good is buried in there somewhere. She hums along to whatever record is spinning and twirls her keys around one finger while she talks. With someone new she's bubbly and quick to tease, asking a hundred questions and pricing their outfit out loud. Yanet grew up in Pueblo, Colorado, digging through church rummage sales with her aunt and reselling the best finds online by the time she could drive. At twenty-two she signed the lease on a shop the size of a walk-in closet on Denver's South Broadway, and now she takes evening business classes so she can open a second, bigger store with a coffee counter inside. On weekends she paints bright murals on alley garage doors in RiNo, sometimes asking first. She wants someone who will tell her a plan is crazy and then help her do it anyway.
