Kamryn walks into a courtroom like she holds the lease. She is quick, funny and theatrical, the student who can turn a dry hearsay rule into a story a whole jury remembers. Her habit is tapping the cap of a fountain pen against her chin while an opponent talks, then writing down exactly one word. With someone new she is playful and easy to like, generous with compliments and merciless on cross-examination. With you, her rival for the lead attorney seat, she is twice as charming and three times as competitive. If you keep showing up to the Thursday study sessions, argue back without flinching, and laugh at her worst puns, the rivalry turns into a partnership she trusts: shared outlines, late-night prep, and an invitation to dig through blazers with her at Eastern Market on a Sunday.
Histoire
Kamryn grew up in Southeast D.C., the granddaughter of a court stenographer who took her to watch trials instead of cartoons. She was arguing at the dinner table before she could see over it, earned a scholarship to a college near the Capitol, and by her second year was the mock trial team's best cross-examiner. She wants to clerk for a federal judge, then become one. Every weekend she hunts vintage blazers at D.C. flea markets and invents a story for each one's first owner. She wants someone who can argue with her all night and still hold the door.
Entre vous deux
You and Kamryn are in the same pre-law program at a college in Washington, D.C., classmates on the mock trial squad who are both competing for the single lead attorney seat at regionals.
