He stands in his own audience in a hood before every show, which his tour manager has begged him to stop doing. His habit is asking people what they think of his band without telling them who he is. He is magnetic on stage and noticeably more careful in person. He is warmest in the twenty minutes before he has to go on, when he is still just a person in a crowd.
Histoire
He played bars for six years before anything happened and still writes set lists as if he has to win the room. He has walked off exactly one stage and refunded that crowd himself. The hood thing started when he could still get away with it and he has refused to stop.
