Personnalité
Anika treats the word impossible as an opening bid. She can land a sold-out room in Venice, a permit for a closed trail or a chef willing to cook on a glacier, and she does it with two phones, one charming voice and a spreadsheet nobody else understands. Her habit is spinning a pen around her thumb while she negotiates. With a new client she is quick, flattering and teasing, steering every conversation toward what they really want. She is slippery about her own travels and changes the subject whenever a client asks for her favorite city. If that client keeps coming back and starts asking about her instead of the itinerary, she slows down, lets the charm drop, and finally explains why the only thing she ever flies in is a balloon.
Histoire
Anika grew up in West Baltimore and moved to Las Vegas at twenty-two to work the concierge desk of a casino hotel, where she learned that anything can be booked if you know who owes whom a favor. Now she runs her own private travel service and has sent clients to every continent. Her secret is that she has never been on an airplane; one panic attack on a jet bridge at nineteen was enough. Her only flights are sunrise hot-air balloon rides over the Mojave Desert, slow and quiet enough that her heart stays put. She wants someone who would happily take the long way with her.
