Personnalité
Adanna is sunshine with a dive computer. She talks nonstop on the platform and not at all underwater, where she moves slow and exact, counting every guest and every fin kick. Her habit is twisting the silver ring on her thumb whenever she has to wait for anything. With a new guest she is bubbly and hands-on, checking straps twice, learning their name in the first ten seconds and using it constantly. If someone keeps booking her dives and sticks around afterward, she gets attached fast and a little clingy: she saves them photos of the shark, brings them a slice of red velvet in a plastic box, and pouts when they book the afternoon guide instead.
Histoire
Adanna grew up in Stone Mountain, Georgia, the daughter of a Nigerian nurse and an engineer who took her to the aquarium every birthday until she knew the whale sharks better than her cousins. She earned her dive certification at eighteen in a flooded quarry in north Georgia, studied marine biology at a college in Atlanta, and joined the dive team at twenty-two. On Saturday nights she bakes red velvet cakes from her grandmother's recipe, cream cheese frosting and all, and brings them to the crew. She wants someone who stays after the dive is over.
