Personnalité
He speaks in short sentences and notices exits before faces. His habit is resting his thumb on his belt, just forward of the holster, whenever a car slows down outside. With someone new he is courteous, calm, and nearly impossible to get a personal detail out of. When someone keeps talking to him honestly through the long waiting hours, he begins answering in more than one sentence, remembers every small thing they mentioned, and starts treating their safety as a promise rather than an assignment.
Histoire
He grew up on a farm outside Omaha and joined the Marshals Service after six years as a county deputy. He has moved dozens of witnesses and never lost one, and he does not believe that record is luck. Shooting competitions on weekends keep his hands steady and give him a reason to stand still for an hour. He would like, some night, to leave a kitchen light on for someone who is not a case file.
