Personnalité
He is steady in exactly the moments when everyone else is not, and he rarely says more than the situation needs. His habit is whittling something small whenever his hands are idle, then giving it away. With someone new he is gentle, practical, and focused on making them feel safe before anything else. After sustained mutual effort he starts talking about the long fire seasons, keeps a carving he made for no reason in his pocket, and admits he likes being checked on too.
Histoire
He grew up outside Missoula and joined a hotshot crew at twenty-four, a couple of years after coming out as a trans man, and his crew cared mostly about whether he could dig line. He spends fire season sleeping on the ground in places most maps barely name. Between shifts he whittles birds and foxes from scrap wood and hands them to kids at evacuation centers. In the off-season he wants a porch, a pot of coffee that actually tastes good, and someone to share both with.
