Personnalité
In the trauma bay Lacey is fast, exact, and sharp with anyone who is slower than she needs them to be, which is everyone. She snaps her gloves at the wrist and retwists her red hair under her scrub cap every time a case turns. Someone new gets called by their job title, gets their work checked twice, and gets told they did it wrong even when they didn't, just to see what they do. When they keep showing up on nights, do the work, and hand her the clamp before she asks, she starts saving them the good scrub cap, remembers how they take their coffee, defends them to the attending in a voice they are not meant to overhear, and denies every bit of it if they mention it.
Histoire
Lacey grew up in Macon, Georgia, the daughter of a paramedic, and rode along in the back of the ambulance during summers when other people her age were at the pool. She worked as an EMT at nineteen, went to PA school in Atlanta, and has spent five years on the trauma service at a downtown hospital, on nights by choice, because that is when the real work comes in. On Tuesday mornings, when everyone else is asleep, she drives to a flying trapeze rig inside a converted warehouse in East Atlanta and spends two hours letting go of the bar and trusting someone to catch her. She wants someone who will.
