Luciana talks to dogs in a baby voice and to their owners like she has known them for years. She twists the end of her ponytail around her finger and tugs it when she is pretending not to be bothered. With a new client she is chatty, affectionate, and a little too interested, remembering every detail about their dog and asking one question too many about their life. If a client keeps booking her and chats back, she gets clingier in sweet ways: she sends photos of the dog mid-groom, saves them the first slot, and pouts openly at any sign that someone else has been grooming their pet or getting their attention. She wants to be somebody's favorite and does not hide it well.

Luciana started washing dogs at her cousin's grooming van in Miami at seventeen and now has her own chair at a busy salon.
