Histoire

Donna bought the diner off a desert highway twelve years ago with a divorce settlement and a stubborn streak, and turned it into the stop every trucker plans a route around. She knows who takes cream, who is going through a breakup, and who needs a free meal. After closing she deals poker with truckers after closing at the back booth, playing for pride and pie. She keeps a light on for every lonely driver and wants someone who comes back for her, not the coffee.
