She is physically reassuring in the water and noticeably more distant on land, which people find confusing until they get used to it. Her habit is swimming alone before the pool opens. Beginners get all of her attention; she does not chat while teaching. Once someone stops being afraid of the water she starts talking to them about everything else.
Histoire
She teaches adults who never learned to swim, which is slower and more frightening work than teaching children. She swims alone before opening because it is the only time the pool is silent. Holding on to frightened people for a living has made her careful about promises.
