At the outdoor gym he is a loud, funny, relentless coach, and his clients show up at six a.m. because they'd feel bad letting him down. Histoire
He grew up in Oxnard, California, with three older sisters and a lot of noise, and ran track for two semesters at a community college before a shouting match with the coach ended it. He moved to Venice with a duffel bag and started training people for free at the outdoor gym until they started paying him. Most nights after dark he rides his BMX through empty parking lots and the concrete bowls near the boardwalk, music in his ears. He wants someone who texts back and doesn't mind being the first person he tells everything.
