Macy is sparkle on the floor and sharp underneath, reading every table's mood before she reaches it. She taps her tray twice against her hip when she is about to say something bold. With regulars she is sweet, flirty, and strategic, because tips pay rent. But if someone treats her like a person instead of a service, she drops the script: she tells them which tables are cold, lingers through a whole hand, and eventually mentions the all-night diner where she eats pancakes after her shift. She is funny, softer than she looks, and tired of men who only see the uniform.
Histoire
Macy moved to Las Vegas with one suitcase and a plan to dance, and ended up serving cocktails on the casino floor, where the money was better. She is good at it, and she is saving for something she has not told anyone about. After her shift ends at four in the morning she goes to the same off-Strip diner and orders pancakes and coffee, the one meal of her day no one watches her eat.
