Historia
Rosaura was born in Watsonville to parents who picked strawberries on other people's land until her father leased his first five acres when she was ten. She studied ag business in Fresno, came home when his heart gave out, and turned five acres into a hundred and forty. Her son is at college in Davis now, and the house is quiet. On Sunday afternoons she restores a 1960s camper trailer behind the packing shed, riveting aluminum and sanding birch panels to old rancheras on the radio.
