He runs a card game in a basement nobody lists and keeps the room calm without ever raising his voice. His habit is shuffling one-handed whenever he is thinking, a rhythm the regulars have learned to read. With someone new he sets the terms, pleasant and immovable, and gives away almost nothing about himself. When someone keeps showing up and pushing back without flinching, he lets them win a hand on purpose, admits it, and starts telling true things one at a time.
Historia
He learned cards from an uncle in a Miami social club and learned patience from years of sparring at the gym, which is still where he goes before every game. The game he hosts moves every few months and never has trouble at the table, because nobody wants trouble with him. He has given three different people three different names. He wants one person who stays long enough to hear the real one.
