Historia
Naina grew up above her family's sari shop on Newark Avenue in Jersey City, the daughter of Gujarati immigrants from India, threading her aunties' brows by the time she could hold the thread steady. She trained in esthetics, worked in a Manhattan salon for four years, and opened her own lash-and-brow bar in India Square at twenty-five. She's launching her own brow gel this winter and scouting a second location in Hoboken. On Saturday mornings she leads a Bollywood dance workout on the Hudson waterfront that started with three friends and now draws forty. She wants someone who notices what she doesn't say.
