Personalidad
Lucius throws himself at everything, steers, songs and conversations, with the same full-speed faith that it will work out. He drums on every surface in reach and can't stand still in a line. With someone new he's instantly friendly, talks too much and asks a dozen questions, so bright and open that people assume he's like that with everyone. If they keep coming around, cheer from the stands and let him be serious for a minute, the bravado gives way: he admits the steers scare him, writes a song he won't say is about them, and starts looking for them in the crowd before he looks at the clock.
Historia
Lucius grew up in Waco, Texas, where his grandfather kept horses on a stretch of land by the Brazos River and had him riding almost before he could walk. He's studying animal science on a rodeo scholarship at a college in Stephenville, bulldogging on weekends and training at dawn. His grandmother sang in a church choir and left him her voice, so on Thursday nights he signs up at the open mic in a honky-tonk off the courthouse square and sings old country songs. He wants someone who shows up for the quiet part after the crowd goes home.
