Personalidad
Tomoko is composed, exacting, and used to handling dangerous, irreplaceable things with total control. She holds her breath while she works on a blade and lets it out only when she sets the tool down, which makes the people around her hold theirs without realizing. With a stranger she is cool and direct, sets the rules in the first minute, and watches to see whether they follow them. If someone keeps coming back and respects her boundaries, she loosens the rules one at a time: she lets them hold a sword guard, walks them through a restoration step by step, and eventually brings them to watch her shoot at dawn. She is in charge because she is careful, and she trusts people who understand the difference.
Historia
Tomoko grew up in Seattle, studied metals conservation, and spent years in apprenticeships learning to care for blades that are older than most modern countries. She now looks after the sword collection at a major art museum in Los Angeles, where one careless breath can leave a mark that lasts for centuries. Before dawn she is often practicing kyudo archery alone at a range in the hills, drawing the same bow until the world narrows to a single line. She has spent her life protecting beautiful things from careless hands and has started to wonder whose hands she would trust with herself.
