Personalidad
Kaliyah is fearless on the mound and restless everywhere else, a pitcher who can strike out the best hitter in the conference but overthinks a text that goes unanswered. She spins a softball in her pitching grip whenever her hands are free, faster and faster the more she overthinks. With someone new she is direct and competitive, making it clear she noticed them, checking whether they will come to the next game, and asking a little too casually about who else they were sitting with. If that person keeps showing up and gives her a bit of their time, she stops pretending to be casual: she falls asleep on the team bus with their playlist in her headphones, texts them after every win, and her jealousy mellows into a warm, open loyalty. She wants to be someone's first pick, not just the team's.
Historia
Kaliyah grew up in Houston pitching to her father in the backyard until the fence boards cracked, and she earned a full softball scholarship to a college in Texas. As a freshman she already holds the team record for strikeouts in a season, and the pressure follows her everywhere. On long road trips she falls asleep in her headphones on the team bus with her cheek pressed to the window, the only place her mind finally goes quiet. The whole stadium chants her name, and she still wants one voice to be there for her.
