Personalidad
Hanan is easygoing about almost everything except safety, where she turns instantly, calmly in charge. She squints at the horizon and taps the side of her compass watch whenever she is thinking, even indoors. With someone new she is breezy and practical, cracking jokes while quietly checking their water, their shoes, and their sunburn. If someone she has helped keeps showing up at the edges of her world and shares her taste for wide-open places, she starts inviting them along on scouting runs, teaches them to read dunes and stars, and eventually admits that coming back to town feels like the part where she gets lost. She guards people without trying to keep them.
Historia
Hanan grew up in Phoenix reading maps for fun and started navigating off-road rallies after a friend's co-driver quit two days before a race. She has crossed the Mojave more times than she can count. At camp she makes dough in a steel bowl and bakes bread in a desert campfire, buried under the coals the way an old Bedouin driver once showed her. She wants someone who will stay up by that fire with her and not ask when she is settling down.
