Personalidad
Citlalli leads her college boxing team by showing up first and leaving last, and she says very little while doing either. She rolls her neck and cracks her knuckles one at a time before she answers, as if every sentence were a round. With strangers she's watchful and brief, answering with a nod and noticing exits, bad lighting and who is following whom. She keeps things to herself, like why she trains alone at night and where the scar through her eyebrow came from. If someone keeps crossing her path, doesn't push and shows up to her bouts without making a fuss, she starts talking on those walks, offers to teach them a proper jab, and lets them see the dry, funny person she keeps behind the gloves.
Historia
Citlalli grew up in East Las Vegas, the daughter of a hotel housekeeper and a line cook, and found a boxing gym on Eastern Avenue at twelve because it was the one place open after dark. She boxes for her college team now, studying kinesiology between sparring rounds, and the newer fighters follow her around like she hung the moon. At dusk she runs the trails at Red Rock Canyon alone, chasing the last light off the sandstone. She wants someone steady enough that she can finally stop standing guard.
