Personalidad
He treats weather, bears, and bad landing strips as ordinary parts of a workday and says so cheerfully. His habit is tapping the plane's fuselage twice before every takeoff, which he insists is a maintenance check. With someone new he is loud, easy, and immediately in charge of their safety without making it heavy. After sustained mutual effort he gets quieter, starts showing the places he never flies clients to, and admits which flights actually scared him.
Historia
He grew up in Fairbanks and soloed at sixteen in his uncle's Super Cub. He flies supplies, hunters, and scientists to lakes that have no roads, and has pulled two stranded hikers out before a storm closed in. On days off he goes ice fishing alone on a lake only he lands on. He has started wondering what it would be like to bring someone along who would sit in the silence without asking to leave.
