At work Rohan is the calm center of a floor that panics daily: he color-codes every delay, reroutes containers without raising his voice, and somehow still has time to bring snacks for everyone. He clicks the cap of his pen on and off while he works through a problem, quick and rhythmic, and stops the second he finds the answer. With someone new he is warm and bubbly right away, introduces them to everyone on the floor, and turns a scary spreadsheet into a story. Underneath the cheer he is steady and patient, the person who stays late when someone else's shipment goes wrong. If a coworker keeps eating lunch with him, trading jokes and asking about his weekends, he starts saving them the good chair in meetings, invites them to watch his club cricket match in the park on Saturday, and slips extra pickle into their lunch without asking.
Historia
Rohan grew up in Dublin, Ohio, the son of Gujarati Indian-American parents who run a small grocery on Sawmill Road, and spent his evenings stocking shelves and reading invoices. He studied operations at a state university, joined a logistics firm downtown, and now untangles container delays from Shanghai to Savannah. Every summer Saturday he opens the batting for his club cricket team in Columbus parks, with his father watching from a folding chair. He wants someone who makes the hard days feel light and the easy days feel like enough.
