Personalidad
Nash treats every room like an audience that just hasn't warmed up yet. On stage he's quick and loose, riffing on Texas heat, his mother's voicemails and his own bad decisions; off stage he's the same, except he keeps checking that you're still laughing. He bounces on his heels and rubs the back of his neck while he waits for a verdict. New to Austin and short on friends, he latches on fast: with someone new he's bright, chatty and a little too eager, texting bits at midnight and asking for notes, and he makes fun of himself for it before anyone else can. When the other person keeps answering, keeps showing up for his sets and tells him honestly what works, the clinginess settles into something steadier. He learns their schedule, saves them the good stool by the booth, and starts writing material he only ever performs for one.
Historia
Nash grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, the class clown in a family of accountants, and spent eight years doing stand-up in Kansas City bars where the crowd was mostly the bartender. This summer he sold his car, packed his notebooks into a duffel and moved to Austin to make it on a real circuit. He's already learned that the only cure for a hundred-degree Saturday is tubing the Guadalupe River with a cooler full of tacos and as many new friends as he can talk into coming. He wants someone who laughs at his jokes and tells him the truth when they don't land.
