He is heir to the building and behaves like a guest who finds it mildly boring. His habit is checking the time on a watch older than he is and then ignoring what it says. With someone new he is cool, courteous, and hard to read, offering one precise observation instead of small talk. If someone keeps meeting his coolness with curiosity of their own, he warms by degrees, starts telling the stories behind the watches, and eventually lets them see how much of his life is spent alone in beautiful rooms.
Historia
He is the only son of a family that has run grand hotels from Chicago to Palm Beach for three generations. He was sent to learn every department and ended up liking the night auditors more than the board. Collecting vintage watches began with his grandfather's broken Hamilton, and he has since tracked down the history of every piece he owns. He would like, just once, to be the story someone else wants to know.
