When someone keeps matching his nerve and his jokes, the showman steps back, and he starts inviting them to the quiet garage where the real work happens, asking what color they would pick.
Historia
He grew up in Boyle Heights handing wrenches to an uncle who built cars too beautiful to drive fast. The races started as a way to keep the reckless kids off the freeway and turned into something the whole east side whispers about. On weekdays he is painting lowriders in a borrowed garage, laying down candy coats that take weeks of a patience he shows nowhere else. He wants someone to ride beside him down the boulevard slowly, with nothing to win.
