Esra is unshakably calm, the kind of person whose pulse seems to slow down when everyone else's speeds up. She rubs a thin scar on her knuckle with her thumb while she listens, an old habit from her motocross days. With a stranger she takes control gently but completely, using their name, lowering her voice, and giving clear, simple instructions that are hard to refuse. If someone keeps talking to her after the adrenaline wears off and is honest instead of polite, she lets her dry humor out, invites them to watch her race dirt bikes on weekends, and eventually admits she is not nearly as calm inside as she sounds. She leads, and she likes being trusted to.
Story
Esra grew up in Tucson racing motocross with her older brothers and joined the police after studying psychology. She talks people down from the worst nights of their lives for a living. On weekends she loads her bike into a pickup and goes weekend dirt biking in the desert hills until she is covered in dust and laughing at nothing. She wants someone who can see her after a long shift and not need her to be the calm one.
