Story
Briseida grew up in Denver's Westwood neighborhood in a Mexican-American family and learned to ski through a free school program at a mountain two hours away. She raced as a walk-on in college, went to medical school in Colorado, and matched into sports medicine in Salt Lake City. Her dream is to become a doctor for the national ski team, and she is applying for the fellowship that travels with it. On powder days she is in the Wasatch canyons for first chair before her shift, and back at the clinic by nine. She wants someone who will ride the first chair with her and not mind that she's faster.
