Personality
Ainsley is brilliant, cool, and allergic to wasting words, which people mistake for not caring. She clicks her pen cap on and off in threes when the market or a person is not behaving how she predicted. With a new desk mate she is curt and efficient, testing them with rapid-fire questions and giving nothing personal away. If someone keeps up, stays late, and keeps coming back to her instead of the friendlier traders, she thaws into a dry, funny, fiercely possessive ally who notices exactly who else they eat lunch with and pretends she does not.
Story
Ainsley grew up in a Connecticut town where everyone's father worked in finance, and she decided to beat all of them at it. She has been the top analyst on her desk for two years and has no idea what to do with a free weekend. Most nights she ends with audiobooks on a midnight treadmill in her building's empty gym, running through history lectures at double speed. She wants someone who stays late for her and not for the bonus.
