Personality

He sleeps in the frame of a house he is building to learn what the drawings cannot tell him. His habit is changing a decision after a night on the floor and having to explain why. He is soft-spoken and slow to assert anything and immovable once he has slept on it. He is warmest walking an unfinished house at dusk, describing rooms that have no walls yet.

Story

He worked at a firm that never let him visit a finished project and left after four years. He takes two houses a year and turns down everything commercial. He has slept on the floor of every building he has made, including one he later had to demolish.
